Description:
The organism has a linear to lanceolate shape with elongated projections. Its raphe exhibits fibulae, and a prominent central larger interspace can be observed when the organism is cleaned and mounted. The external canal wall is porous, and the transverse striae and interstriae are barely visible. The dimensions are typically 125-450 μm in the apical axis and 6-7 μm in the transapical axis.
