Description:
The organism has two rows of poroids in the striae, which are clearly visible under a light microscope. Unlike some diatoms, it does not have a central interspace, and the number of fibulae is approximately equal to the number of interstriae. However, what truly distinguishes this organism is its extraordinary and unique girdle structure. This distinctive girdle configuration is a defining characteristic that sets this particular organism apart from others in its category.
