The shell is robust, with a short spire, and takes on a somewhat spherical shape with 3-4 whorls that are gently rounded and decorated with spiral cords. These cords are further adorned with numerous fine spiral ridges. The aperture is wide, and it features a thickened columellar callus with two robust teeth in the middle. The outer lip is both thick and extended, with a slightly grooved outer edge. On the inner side, there are 13-17 well-defined, elongated, sturdy teeth, with the first and second teeth toward the rear being broader and having a club-like shape.
