Shell small, solid and globose. Apex pointed. Spire short; 4 whorls; obscure suture; shoulder rounded; body whorl large and smooth. Aperture rounded; outer lip strong with varix at the exterior portion and inner edge with 9 teeth; inner lip and columella smooth; siphonal canal deep and distinct. Colour: exterior maroon with reddish longitudinal bands;
