Description:
Shell medium, solid, spire moderate, with very fine closed spiral striae, slightly shouldered; 3 to 4 spire whorls; suture indistinct and narrow. Outer surface not beaded. Body whorl inflated, growth lines short and distinct, siphonal canal open and notched. Aperture proportionally larger than the body whorl; outer lip thick, not dentate, columella smooth with folds. Colour: body surface light red-brown, rows of irregular light blotches on the shoulder, interior cream, columella whitish-black with brown streak and then pale yellow. Aperture and columella white with dark brown patches.
