Description:
The body is highly elongated, with a narrower front end compared to the posterior part. The skin is extremely smooth. Short and stout podia are present on both sides of the body and are distributed along the radii and interradii. The mouth is located on the ventral side and is surrounded by 20 black tentacles, while the anus is situated in a sub-dorsal position. The calcareous ring consists of large radial pieces and triangular interradials. Cuvierian tubules are very thin and lengthy. Spicules on the dorsal and ventral skin feature tables and buttons. The tables have large circular discs with 8 holes or more, a spire with 4 pillars, and terminate in a crown with a large central hole. The buttons can be regular, with 6 or 8 holes, or they may have an irregular shape.
