Shell moderately large and club-shaped. Spire short with two large whorls, others small. 3 varices on each whorl. Body whorl large and globose; suture slightly deep. Outer surface sculptured with spiral cords and axial ribs, spines bend and solid. 2-3 spine on each whorl, shoulder spine long, prominent, generally straight; all spines on varices gradually decrease in length from the shoulder to the anterior end of the canal. Aperture ovate, outer lip with strong varix. 3 large and 4 small teeth, interior lirate; inner lip partly adherent posteriorly. Spines of straight siphonal canal disposed in a single axial row, canal straight and long, opens narrowly. Operculum thin and horny. Color: Body surface light brown to creamy white; spines same as body color, aperture white, operculum reddish brown.
