In males, they are less commonly encountered compared to females. The first antenna (A1) in males is slender, elongated, consisting of five segments, and it is geniculate.
Females of this species may occasionally exhibit a rosy tinge. They have distinct characteristics, including the presence of transverse rows of spinules near the anterior margins of the second, third, and fifth prosome somites, as well as the urosome somites. The longest setae on the caudal rami are approximately twice as long as the body. The fifth leg (P5) in females bears two inner setae that are roughly equal in length.
