In the male of this species, they are smaller in size compared to the females, but their overall shape is quite similar. The first antenna (A1) in males is geniculate. Their caudal rami are a bit wider than they are long.
Conversely, the female features a short rostrum that turns downward. The fifth leg (P5) of the female has two inner setae of different lengths. They also display transverse rows of tiny spinules on the urosome. The caudal rami in females are as long as they are wide and divergent. Additionally, the longest setae on the caudal rami are nearly as long as the female’s body, while the second longest setae are about ¾ the length of the body.
