Description:
The colonies are solid and cerioid in structure, featuring laterally compressed corallites of varying heights. The walls of the corallites are sharp, and the septa are thick, with prominent teeth. Columellae are set deep within and may be poorly developed. These colonies possess a thick, fleshy covering adorned with delicate papillae.
