Description:
Head color is Olive or yellowish, body color is Greyish above and pale-yellow beneath with 40-60 dark cross bands and spots. Scale rows are 17-21 around neck, 30-36 around thickest part of body. Teeth have 5-6 maxillary, 7-8 palatine, 9-12 pterygoid, 12-15 dentale. Body scales are hexangular in shape that laid side by side, with 2-3 tubercles or with two-dented or three-dented keels.
