Description:
In adult male shrimp, the basial spine of the third pereiopod is extremely long and barbed. In female shrimp, the fifth pereiopod is often reduced to the coxa and basis. The body is pale yellow to brownish with red, brownish, or greenish specks. The distal part of the rostrum is darker.
