The organism characterized by its nearly hairless body, curved rostrum, and dorsal crest with seven teeth, exhibits distinct features such as a weak postantennular spine and a small hepatio spine. Its carapace displays a shallow postantennular groove and subhepatic groove, with an indistinct ridge outlining the branchial region mainly towards the posterior part. The abdominal terga only show conspicuous median carination on the fourth, fifth, and sixth somites. Notably, the sixth somite is as long as the telson, which lacks marginal spines, except for a pair of clearly perceptible distal spines and tiny spinules. The antennular flagellum is almost as long as the peduncle, and the third maxilliped, in both males and females, barely reaches the middle of the antennal scale. Males have unique features on their chelipeds and pereiopods, including a notch on the merus of the last pair of pereiopods. Additionally, the petasma is symmetrical, forming a compressed tube with spouts, while the thelycum is concave, featuring a figure-eight-shaped median lobe. The organism is primarily flesh-colored with scattered brown dots on its dorsal side, especially on the tail fin.
