Description:
Its Total Length (TL) Up to 10–12 cm. Carapace Length (CL) ~2.0–2.8 cm. Rostrum is long, slightly curved upward; reaches to or beyond antennal scale. Telson is tapered with 3 pairs of movable lateral spines + 1 pair of terminal spines. Rostral Teeth (Dorsal) 7–9 teeth, with 3–4 behind the orbit. Rostral Teeth (Ventral) 1–2 small teeth, sometimes absent. Telson Spines 3 pairs of lateral spines, 1 pair of terminal spine. Hepatic and postorbital spines present. body color Pale pinkish to reddish-brown, often translucent.
