At the tips, the branches measure only 1 mm in width. Polyps are located on one side of the colony and the majority of them remain retracted. Calyces barely extend beyond the coenenchyme. The coenenchyme primarily consists of capstans, double structures and disk spindles, featuring small clubs with rounded heads. Spindles are present with intricate tubercles and additional clubs are found in the calyces. The axis is composed of smooth rods with sparse tubercules. The coloration is orange with yellow polyps—specifically, the calyx sclerites and all polyps are yellow while all other components are orange.
