Description:
Medium to large, thick shell, ovately triangulate; elevated umbo. Dorsal margin strongly sloping on either side of the umbo; anterior margin rounded, posterior truncated. Outside of the shell shiny, smooth, with very fine concentric growth lines. Cardinal teeth well developed. Subequal muscle scars joined by a thin pallial line; a large rounded pallial sinus longer than high. Colour: outside creamy-white with pinkish-violet radial bands. Inside porcelaneous-white.
