Description:
Shell solid, ovately trigonal, with Shell solid, ovately trigonal, with inflated umbones. Dorsal margin strongly sloping on either side of the umbo. Anterior margin of shell rounded, posterior obtusely truncate. Exterior smoothish with fine concentric groove lines. Thin and adherent periostracum. Cardinal and lateral hinge teeth distinct. Pallial sinus shallow and widely open. Adductor muscle scars subequal. Colour: outside yellowish with irregular brownish patches all over. Inside porcelaneous- white.
