Description:
The shell is relatively small, solid, glossy, and oval-shaped. The lateral margins (sides) are devoid of tubercles (small bumps). The aperture (opening) is narrow and has a deep siphonal canal (the tube that leads to the animal’s body). The dorsum (upper surface) is pale pink-brown with four dark bands. The teeth are bright purple.
