The coloration ranges from red to reddish-orange, occasionally featuring a faint saddle-shaped black mark on the caudal peduncle behind the dorsal fin. The median fins exhibit a reddish color, sometimes with a hint of yellow or narrow brown/black borders, while pelvic fins are red and pectoral fins are yellow.
