The shell is medium in size, elongated, and oval-shaped. It is solid, not swollen, and smoother and glossier than other shells of the same species. The aperture (opening) is narrow and straight, and the teeth are much finer. In the middle of the columella (the inner lip of the aperture), the teeth extend about one-third of the way across the base. The body color is light brown and does not have the red tinge at the ends. The teeth are red-brown.
