Description:
The shell is medium to large, light in weight, oval-shaped, glossy, and elongated. The aperture (opening) is long and narrow, slightly curved at the posterior end (the back of the shell), and has a deep siphonal canal (the tube that leads to the animal’s body). The body color is fawn-brown with three dark bands and two dark brown spots at each end. There is a pink-red tinge at each end of the aperture. The base and teeth are white.
