The shell is medium-sized, elongated, and oval-shaped. It is solid, less swollen, smoother, and glossier than other shells of the same species. The aperture (opening) is narrow and straighter, and the teeth are much finer. In the middle of the columella (the inner lip of the aperture), the teeth extend about one-third of the way across the base. The body color is light brown and lacks the red tinge at the ends. The teeth are red-brown.
