Description:
The shell is large and heavy, with dark brown blotches on the upper surface. The base is solid and the mid-dorsal position is raised at a 60-degree angle. The aperture is narrow and both lips are covered in small, sharp teeth. The body is off-white at the mid-dorsal area and light blue at the base. It is covered in many brown spots, with two irregular blotches of darker brown on the upper surface. The ventral area around the aperture is whitish and has no spots. The base is covered in many dark brown spots.
