Description:
Lateral profile of the body displays a gently curved taper toward the caudal peduncle. The anal fin consists of 14–15 rays and there are 55–58 lateral line scales with 12–13 scale rows below the lateral line. In terms of coloration, the predominant color is a pinkish-orange while the belly and lower flanks are white. The inner surface of the pectoral fin is dark, featuring a narrow pale blue band diagonally across it.
