Description:
The fish has no dorsal spines, 10-13 dorsal soft rays, no anal spines, and 8-12 anal soft rays. Its coloration is greenish with brown or black spots above, featuring a silver band extending from the mouth to the caudal fin. The belly is white, and there is a silver blotch in front of the eye. The pectoral base is black.
