English Name: Not Known
Local/Bangla Name: Not Known
Classification:
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Rotifera

Family: Brachionidae
Description:
The lorica of these organisms is characterized by its dorso-ventral depression, and the anterior margin consistently features six spines, while the posterior margin bears a single spine in the middle. These structural features exhibit little variation, although it’s important to note the occurrence of significant cyclomorphosis in other regions. In essence, each specimen consistently possesses two very long spines on either side, running parallel to the body. Typically, the length of the longest anterior spine matches that of the posterior spine. The antero-lateral spines, though not exceptionally long, tend to be slightly lengthier than those observed in specimens from different geographical areas.
Environment:
Marine
