Description:
Beaked sea snake has a distinctive beaked snout. The coloration of the beaked sea snake varies with age. Young snakes have gray to black annuli (rings), while juveniles have 45-55 transverse bars that may extend down the flanks. The lower body of juveniles is whitish and without pattern. Adults are uniform gray above and whitish below. The dark bars on adults are wider or as wide as the paler interspaces.
