Description:
Anterior part of the body with faint yellow or whitish dorsal bands that become complete rings towards the posterior. There are 5-7 maxillary teeth behind the fangs and 300-338 ventral scales that are distinct throughout the entire length of the snake. It has Indistinct coloration that may be uniform grey above and yellow underneath and Yellow bands that are much brighter in the young and become light with age.
