Description:
Scales in the lowermost three or four lateral rows being larger than the other sea snake. There are 23-35 scale rows around the neck and 25-43 scale rows around the body. It Has 3-6 maxillary teeth behind the fangs. Greenish or yellowish body coloration above and whitish coloration below, with dark greenish to black bands that sometimes fuse longitudinally dorsally and narrow laterally.
