Description:
Compact colonies exhibit encrusting, laminar or sub-massive foundations with short columns or branches in smaller forms. In contrast, more extensive colonies adopt a hemispherical shape which comprised of densely fused branches. The branches may occasionally flatten towards their tips. Monticules are often low, rounded and occasionally underdeveloped. Tentacles remain extended both day and night, characterized by their long, shaggy and uniformly uniform length.
