The coloration can vary with the upper side appearing as either gray or dark brown and featuring white, yellow, or dark horizontal bands. The lower side is whitish and has fine black dots. The bivium, which is the upper surface, displays characteristic wrinkles, small papillae within the black dots, and black podia. The mouth is situated ventrally and is encircled by a collar of papillae, accompanied by 20 short, stout, and gray-colored tentacles. The anus is located at the terminal end and is surrounded by a circle of 5 radial papillae. Cuvierian tubules are not present. There are numerous ossicles. Both the dorsal and ventral podia are equipped with long, large, and spiny rods.
