Holothuria leucospilota has a highly elongated and serpentine body, with the anterior portion being narrower than the posterior. In its living state, the color is a deep charcoal-gray covering all surfaces except for the underside, where the tube feet appear pale gray. The skin is exceptionally smooth. The mouth is located on the underside and is encircled by 20 black tentacles, while the anus is positioned in a sub-dorsal area. The calcareous ring consists of large radial pieces and triangular interradials. Cuvierian tubules are very slender and lengthy. The podia and papillae are randomly distributed on the bivium, with short and stout podia found on the radii (ambulacra) and interradii (interambulacra).
