Holothuria pardalis displays a diverse array of body shapes and can often appear somewhat spherical. In its living state, it can have a color range from grayish-brown to greenish-brown, and it is often characterized by variable brown bands or a pattern of 8-10 pairs of brown blotches running along its back, or alternatively, numerous black spots. The skin is both leathery and muscular in texture. The spicules come in various forms. The mouth is situated on the ventral side, and the anus is located at the terminal end.
