Description:
The body has a cylindrical shape, elongated, and its ends are rounded. The mouth is located on the ventral side and is encircled by 20 black tentacles. The anus is positioned at the terminal end. The calcareous ring consists of large radial pieces and narrow interradials, and there are no Cuvierian tubules. The entire body is black in color. The spicules in the integument include tables and rosettes, with the tables featuring circular discs that have 8 holes (4 central and 4 smaller ones in between) and a spire composed of 4 pillars, ending in a Maltese crown. The ventral podia do not have rods but possess pseudo-plates. Dorsal podia and papillae have short rods with denticulate borders.
