The shell is petite, elongated, robust, and comprises 12 slightly stepped whorls. The suture, where the whorls meet, is notably indented, and the axial ribs are gracefully curved, leaving numerous grooved spaces in between. Threads adorn the suture area, and it’s easy to discern both the suture and the area just below it, known as the subsutural zone. Longitudinal folds run from the whorls up to the suture, and the apex is distinctly marked. The aperture is oval and curves both anteriorly and posteriorly. The shell exhibits a light brown or creamy-white surface with brown spiral lines and blotches. A white band separates the sutural zone, and the columella is brown.
