Description:
The creeping rhizome is 0.6–1.0 mm thick, with a short, erect stem that is 5–15 mm at each node, and 2–7 roots. between 10 and 37 mm in length. Leave sheaths, 10-30 mm long, with 2-4 leaves per branch. 40–100 mm length and 0.5–1.5 mm broad leaf blades. The midribs are prominent, divided, or broadened near the tip. Tridentate mature leaf tips, with the median tooth being equal to or marginally longer than the lateral.
