Description:
This species is identified by its rounded body disc, slightly wider than long, with strongly pointed tubercles on the dorsal surface and body margins. The entire body interspaces are covered with tiny spinules, and it has a reddish coloration with a short vermiculate pattern on the dorsal surface.
