The teeth on the tongue form two paddle-shaped patches, each with a long inner prolongation.In terms of coloration, the disk is brownish-yellow with symmetrical dark reticulations across the dorsal surface. The pectoral fin is orange-yellowish, featuring a thin white line across the middle. There are two pale bars on the caudal fin, and the ventral surface is reddish.
