Description:
Colonies can exist as free-living or attached entities, displaying a hemispherical shape or less commonly, short thick columns. The calices feature elevated walls that appear ragged. The columellae are broad and irregular. Small satellite colonies are frequently found embedded in the living tissue of parent colonies. Polyps come in mixed sizes with larger ones being elongate. The typical coloration is pale brown or green, often with green-tipped tentacles.
