The shell is moderately-sized, solid, elongated, with a long spire, ribbed, and characterized by channeled sutures. The columella is smooth and adorned with a callus, while the posterior sinus is small and narrow. The siphon is long, slender, and slightly tapered, and the outer lip features 1-2 narrow notches at the end of the keel and another at the base of the siphon. The outer lip is thin and sculpted with a peripheral carina, which hosts gemmules with 1 or 2 fine spiral cords. There is a distinctive keel on the shoulder, and the body whorl exhibits 5 to 6 spiral cords. The shell’s coloration is primarily yellowish-brown or dull brown, while the columella and aperture are white.
