The nectophores found in Frillagalma vityazi are small, delicate, and transparent in nature. They exhibit distinct ridges that are expanded, giving them a frilled or fluted appearance, and they are dorso-ventrally flattened. The dorsal and ventral sides feature median longitudinal grooves. In juvenile nectophores, dorso-lateral ridges can be observed on both sides, running along the median groove. As the nectophores mature, the median longitudinal groove becomes broader. Two dorso-lateral ridges are situated near the lateral edges of the nectophore and continue on the ventral side as ventro-lateral ridges. The musculature is well-developed, featuring four radial canals, and there are two pairs of very short, frilled ridges extending into the median groove as anterior and posterior ridges on the dorsal side.
