Description:
Colony structure ranges from submassive to encrusting. The corallites exhibit depth, featuring extremely thin angular walls that lend the colonies a honeycomb-like appearance. Typically the corallites are less than 7 mm in diameter. Septa are limited and widely spaced and there are no paliform lobes. The coloration tends to be dark, often accompanied by white upper margins on the walls.
