Description:
It is brownish in color and darker above exhibiting dusky basal spots on the pectoral fins and blackish pelvic fins. It possesses a moderately elongated and compressed body along with a subcylindrical head. Sensory canals and pores are evident on the head and there’s a longitudinal pattern of sensory-papillae rows on the cheek. The head and body have a ground color of dull yellow or light yellowish-brown appearing paler and tinged with yellow on the ventral side. Body features several indistinct vertical dusky bars and the dorsal fins are adorned with numerous dusky spots.
