In the female of this species, several distinct characteristics can be observed. The female possesses a stout rostrum, and the anterior portion of the cephalosome is sharply pointed. The first antenna (A1) consists of seven segments, and the fifth leg (P5) is symmetrical, comprising a single segment.
In the male, the body shape closely resembles that of the female. Both the first and second antennae (A1 and A2) are geniculate, with the fourth and fifth segments of A1 fused and significantly thickened. Furthermore, the sixth and seventh segments of A1 are also fused. The exopod of the second antenna (A2) is well developed. In the first pair of legs (P1), both rami are two-segmented. Notably, the fifth leg (P5) in males is symmetrical and rudimentary in nature.
