Description:
Each thallus grows individually, with cylindrical fronds that branch irregularly. They are attached by a cone-shaped disc. Cryptostomata, which are small openings, are present on branches and additional structures. Air-filled sacs are found within the axes. The plants range in color from olive green to brownish-green. They have a kidney-shaped and dense appearance. The reproductive structures at the end of the branches are elongated, oval-shaped, and spiky.
