Description:
The crab’s carapace is almost spherical with a domed dorsal surface. The submedian lobes are prominent, the median lobe is ventrally placed and the cervical groove is prominent. The first segment of the antennal peduncle is freely moveable and the excretory pore is conspicuous.The female chelipeds are smaller than those of the male, and the male chelipeds are robust. The coxa of the fifth pereiopod of the male has a long penis.
