Description:
The hinge has one anterior and two posterior lateral teeth in the right valve as well as one anterior and one posterior lateral tooth in the left valve. The pallial sinus is deep and rounded. The internal margins are smooth. The color of the shell can vary, but is often white, cream, brown, or purple, with darker radiating rays.
