Description:
The colony has a massive structure. Corallites, circular in shape, are densely packed in shallow water and spaced more widely in deeper water. The septa are fine, numerous, and uniform. Paliform lobes are frequently underdeveloped. The coloration includes pale gray, green, or brown, with calices often exhibiting a contrasting color.
