Description:
Front part of the tube has shell fragments attached along the sides. The frontal antennae are slender and awl-shaped. The ceratophore of the middle occipital antennae typically has 9-12 rings. The mandibles have straight and tapered shafts. The pseudocompound setae are hooded and have two strong teeth. Comb-like setae start appearing on the tenth foot and have 18-30 teeth. Bidentate acicular setae first make an appearance on the ninth foot.
