Description:
The plants display greenish-brown to dark brown color. The thallus is fragile and thin, with a membranous texture. It lies flat and spreads over the substrate, with the lower parts in contact with the surface, while the upper sections have a slightly upright orientation. The branches are strap-like, short, and they divide in a dichotomous pattern, terminating with rounded tips and anchored by clusters of rhizoids.
